Admission Requirement

Master of Biblical and Theological Studies (MABTS)

Entrance Requirements:

  • BTh or similar first degree in theology with a minimum GPA of 2.75 OR first degree in a non-theological subject with a minimum GPA of 2.5 plus a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate theological studies with a minimum GPA of 2.75
  • One year of New Testament Greek with a minimum GPA of 2.0 OR a “pass” in the Greek competency test, administered by EGST
  • Hebrew (for Old Testament specialisation only)
  • Minimum score of 500 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or equivalent, administered by EGST
  • Interview by panel of EGST faculty members

Master of Arts in Leadership and Management (MALM) 

Entrance Requirements:

  • First degree in related discipline (e.g., sociology, business or management studies, theology, political science, economics) OR graduate/student of an EGST programme
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 (non-theological background) OR 2.75 (undergraduate theological background)
  • Minimum score of 500 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or equivalent, administered by EGST
  • Interview by panel of EGST faculty members

Master of Arts in Development Studies (MADS)

Entrance Requirements:

  • First degree in related discipline (e.g., sociology, business or management studies, theology, political science, economics) OR graduate/student of an EGST programme
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 (non-theological background) OR 2.75 (undergraduate theological background)
  • Minimum score of 500 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or equivalent, administered by EGST
  • Interview by panel of EGST faculty members

Master of Theology (MTh)

Entrance Requirements:

  •    Post graduate degree of MDiv, MABTS, or equivalent
  •    Minimum GPA of 3.3
  •    Current EGST MABTS students with acceptable GPA can apply

Post Graduate Diploma (PGD)

Entrance Requirements:

  •  First degree in subject other than theology
  •  Minimum GPA of 2.5
  •  Minimum score of 500 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or equivalent, administered by EGST
  •  Interview by panel of EGST faculty members
