EGST Annual Staff Retreat- Time of Unity and Excursion

The 2018 EGST annual staff retreat concluded from June 26-30, 2018 in Lalibela, Lasta district of north Wollo zonal administration

The event encompassed a trip in the northern historic route ending at the Lalibela rock-Hewen ancient churches. The tour further included Loggo Haik boat ride and fish dinning, Wuchale, historic site and other site seeing features. In a concluding camp fire fellowship at Dessie Golden Gate Hotel, the staff expressed their joy for trekking in the historic route of tourist attraction.

EGST Director,Dr. Misgana Mathewos expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the retreat and emphasised EGST’s staff care policy as outlined in its Strategy and Human Resource Development Policy.

At the Wadila Delanta mountain top, another stop over was made for site-seeing

On June 27, 2018 a celebration was undergoing at the Lalibela Bete Medhane Alem church where staff observed a live ceremony of the day. All the monasteries were visited including this one.

A cave route in Lalibela’s Bete Gebriel and Rufauel is a ‘hell way’ with complete darkness.

In between the excursion there was Souvenir shopping at Lalibela
