The Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology and its community at large mourn the tragic loss of lives in our leading airline, Ethiopian, scheduled flight ET 302 to Nairobi on Sunday, March 10, 2019.

We express our condolences to the families and friends who lost their beloved ones and stand firm with the Ethiopia Airlines, the nation and the international community in prayer and restoration of hope and strength for all those experiencing grieve.

We appreciate the prayers and solidarity of EGST friends and partners across the globe who are sharing the grieve and sending condolences to the families and people of Ethiopia through us.

Some of our partners expressed their deep sympathy as follow:

‘I am so sorry for the loss of lives in the plane accident. It is so sad. I hope there were no people from EGST among the victims, but in any way, every life is a big loss for the family and working places.

Many of us have gone that way to Nairobi with the good airline, Ethiopian, and the thoughts are coming.’

‘Dear Friends,
We were all shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic air accident and loss of life. As the nation of Ethiopia mourns, know that we are with you in prayer. We are praying that any faults can be identified rapidly before any further loss of life occurs with this new model of aircraft.

You remain a precious part of the OCMS community.
With our love and prayer,
