Graduates Celebrate Banquet; Pledge Green Campus Commitment

The class of 2019 graduates celebrated the annual banquet and pledged their support for a green campus commitment. The banquet is   a time of fellowship with their families and EGST community where graduates reflect back their memories.

The mission of EGST is the same with the mission of the churches where we encourage you and ask God to give you more grace to be people of wisdom in a time when so many people are driven by their feelings and creating chaos in the nation.” remarked the Director.

In his sermon during the baquet, Dr. Lidetu Alemu, Programme Leader for the Master of Arts in Leadership and Management urged graduates to work towards the transformation of lives and ask themselves how they would be remembered by the next generation after so many years from now. Dr Lidetu further noted that in a time of ethnic conflicts, internal displacement, and other social ills, the roles of graduates’ is immense

As part of the event, graduating Student Mulugeta Medhin shared his testimony during his stay at EGST.

The 2019 Graduation Committee expressed gratitude to EGST community for all the service they have offered during their stay. As the symbol of their appreciation, the students presented a picture of  beautiful trees that would be planted at EGST compound marking the commitment of the class of 2019.
