Visiting Professors Offered Courses at EGST

Three visiting professors offered rainy season courses at EGST in the months of June and July 2016.

Among the visitors, Dr. Esther Mombo, Professor of African Church History, Gender and Theology at St. Paul’s University in Limuru Kenya and Dr Lilian Siwila, lecturer in Gender, Philosophy and Theology, from University of Ku Zulu Natal, South Africa taught courses at EGST.

Previously Dr Finn Aa Rønne offered a course in the History of Church in Africa as part of his commitment to serve as a guest lecturer and teach courses at EGST. Dr Finn is Associate Professor in Church and Mission History.

It was learnt that more visiting professors will teach at EGST in the near future. As spelled out in its core values EGST encourages the exchange of expatriate visiting professors from various universities and immensely benefited from such partnerships in the past.

Interested visiting professors can contact EGST and discuss details on serving as guest lecturers and visiting professors. It was learnt that more visiting professors will teach at EGST in the near future.
