EGST Director, Rev. Dr Misgana Mathewos on Tuesday October 22, 2019 received Rev. Thomas W. Stephen, Advisor for Religion and Churches in Africa at the Bread for the World (BftW) based in Berlin.
Rev. Dr Misgana has introduced EGST’s profile to Rev.Thomas W.Stephen by highlighting on EGST’s history and ownership, its programmes, research efforts and community engagement projects. The Director further described about students, faculty, and projects.
Mr. Christoph Schneider-Yattara, Regional Representative for the Horn of Africa Regional Office for Bread for the World has introduced Rev. Thomas W. Stephen as an Advisor for Religion and Churches in Africa at Bread for the World succeeding Rev. Jürgen Klein, former Senior Adviser for Religion and Churches in Africa.
The introduction and familiarization visit of Rev. Thomas Stephan to the Ethiopian context is taken as a positive opportunity for strengthening the partnership. Rev. Thomas has visited EGST facilities and appreciated the services EGST is providing for churches and society in Ethiopia.
