Stakeholders’ consultation on Religious Studies and Intercultural Relations held at EGST on November 6, 2019.
Introducing the newly proposed academic concentration, EGST Head of Academic Affairs, Dr. Theodros Assefa, announced an overview of the curriculum design process and expressed his gratitude for the participants and called for an active participation.
According to Dr. Tekalign Nega who presented the details of the curriculum, “the main objective of the workshop is to solicit stakeholders’ feedback on the proposed curriculum.” He further noted that the curriculum was enriched by comments, recommendations, and feedback received from experts in the field.
Participants from EGST’s Council of Owners and Board, denomination leaders, faculties and experts in the field deliberated and forwarded comments for further considerations
EGST Director Rev. Dr. Misgana Mathewos concluded that the curriculum will be improved by incorporating the inputs from the consultation. In his closing remark and prayer during the consultation, Rev. Dr Wakeseyoum Idossa, EGST Board Chairperson extended his gratitude for the participants and the organizers of the consultation.
