Association for Christian Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA) granted accreditation to the two Study Programmes of Master of Theology (MTh) and Master of Arts in Development Studies (MADevS) of the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology (EGST).
In a report sent to EGST, ACTEA’s Accreditation Committee concluded that EGST has effective institutional management structures, qualified faculty, qualified students, and adequate academic and physical resources as well as policies to support the two study programmes. ACTEA further noted EGST to uphold its quality and continue complying with ACTEA’s standards.
It was also recalled that the Free University of Amsterdam, VUA has validated the quality of EGST’s programmes and singed a partnership Memorandum of Understanding and Plan of Operations to launch a joint PhD programme at EGST.
