The EGST PhD Seminar launched on Friday August 31, 2018 at Laing Hall. Six research proposals were presented by the EGST-VU joint PhD students.
Opening the seminar, Dr Desta Heliso, EGST PhD Programme Coordinator said that ‘though it is a small beginning at the moment the seminar is expected to grow gradually in the coming years’.
Head of Academic Affairs Dr Theodros welcomed the audience and said that the uncertainties of running a PhD Progamme were realized as the candidates are demonstrating academic competence and the second admission is announced.
Faculty, staff, students and invited guests attended the seminar followed by a dinner reception [EGST PRC 2018].
