The Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology (EGST) expresses its deepest condolence on the passing away of Dr. Catherine Hamlin, founder of Fistula Foundation in Ethiopia.

Over the years since 2014 EGST has benefited from the foundation, mainly from the Addis Ababa Hamlin Fistula Hospital, Desta Rehabilitation Mender, and Midwifery College as they hosted EGST students and faith leaders for educational visits and applied field practicum.

During our engagement with the foundation, EGST students and faith leaders attended lectures given by the hospital and midwifery college team, observed the physical facilities of the hospital and its various work units and reflected on issues related to the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of fistula problems in Ethiopia
